sciTunes is a learner-centered approach to teaching 7-12 science that uses fun and scientifically accurate music to actively engage students.
And you'll find it surprisingly easy to implement.
Q: "How do I get the video games to work?"
A: Currently sciTunes video games will only work on Intel Macs running OS X Leopard or Snow Leopard using the Safari browser. Games will be available for PCs using Internet Explorer and Firefox soon.
if you are using an Intel Mac that is running OS X Leopard or Snow Leopard and using the Safari browser follow these simple steps:
1) Click here to download the game plugin (a small file that allows Safari to load the sciTunes games right into the browser).
2) Click on the file in Safari's small download popup window. This will create a file on your computer (probably in your download folder) called "GameSalad.pkg".
3) Quit Safari
4) Find "GameSalad.pkg" and click on it. Follow the on-screeen directions.
5) Open safari and go to www.scitunes.com/games and ENJOY!
